Description
Indicator, Electrical Tachometer; F16 Aircraft; AMC code 1C. NSN: Generic Master: 6620-01-180-5209. OEM Code: 81755. Spec Control Drawing: 16VF003-2. Description: Tachometer indicator for F16 aircraft; displays engine core shaft speed in rpm's. Item material is plastic and metals. Approximate dimensions: length 6 inches, width 2 inches, height 2 inches, weight is 1.1 lbs. Quantity: 1 each. Destination: Foreign Military Sales. Delivery Schedule: On or before 30 April 2013. QR: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8241. Do not contact the ombudsman to request copies of the solicitation, verify offer due date, or clarify technical requirements. Such inquiries shall be directed to the Contracting Officer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable.
