Description
Site preparation for the relocation R/W 06 Localizer, including - reinforced concrete foundations for the LOC antenna array, equipment shelter, and electrical equipment. Installation of duct bank, power and control cables between the LOC antenna array and equipment shelter, shelter, R/W 24 MALS shelter, R/W 24 GS and ASDE-X remote unit site #2. Installation of crushed rock surfacing at the facility plot, and installation of crushed rock access road. Demolition and restoration of the existing LOC and GS sites, including removal of existing LOC foundations. Partial reconstruction of R/W 06 MALSR and R/W 24 MALS TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE - NAICS 237990 - Estimated price range between $500,000 and $600,000. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and control by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime and sub-contractor at any tier. The DOT bonding assistance program enable firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on bond amount to surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit of $750,000.
