- NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA), Coatesville VA Medical Center is issuing a draft request for proposals to seek comment and feedback from interested stakeholders. The Coatesville VA Medical Center located at 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road Coatesville PA 19320 is in need of small business' to offer, annual NFPA required electrical testing on power distribution system. The contractor must furnish all travel, labor, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to provide preventative maintenance of equipment. Contractor shall be bonded, insured, and meet all Federal, State and Local laws and requirements for service as required. Contractor must show evidence of their responsibility, reliability and experience. Contractor will be responsible for service as described below: Complete yearly NFPA required electrical testing on our power distribution system. Oil testing of all transformers, building 17 motor controls, indoor transfer gear 13,800 volts, outdoor transfer gear 33,000 volts, 2 air switches. THIS IS NOT AN ORDER, SOLICITATION, OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation for services. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this announcement. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized and posted at www.fbo.gov. Your response to this draft request for proposal will be due on December 20, 2012 to the persons listed below. Your response will assist the VA in determining the best acquisition solution to ensure competition and ultimately the best valued solution for the Coatesville VA need.
