- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. There is no solicitation available at this time. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice. If a solicitation is later released, it will be synopsized in FedBizOps. It is the potential business concerns responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation. This effort is to seek qualified prime vendor capable of fulfilling the requirements to provide services in support of the 41st IBCT XCTC exercise being conducted in Gowen Field, Idaho (Gowen Field proper and Orchards Training Center) Approximate timeframe is last week of May into the first week of July 2013. The potential vendor will need to be able to provide sleeping tents at six different locations to support up to approximately 800 Soldiers with one of the six locations needing to sleep approximately 1400 Soldiers. The tents need to be approximately 60' X 160' in diameter. There will also need to be feeding tents that are available to set up at five of the locations with one location needing three tents in its own. There is a need of photo copier rental All machines are to be high-speed copiers with digital capability, stapling, dual siding, sorting, scanning, and faxing as well as multiple paper shredders; TBD on the amount of copiers needed. There is the need of a dust abatement truck to keep the dust from being breathed by Soldiers. Large construction like light towers will be needed to keep the different operating bases lit throughout the night to include all fuel required to meet this task. Laundry service handling approximately 100 bags to include cleaning and folding with a 48 hour turn around will be required to support all Soldiers that are at all the locations throughout the training area. Metal Conex containers will also be needed to support ammunition handling areas. There will be a need for catered breakfast and lunch for the advanced party of soldiers and the trail party after the main body departs. There will also be a need to provide refer vans to keep food chilled and safe for the use of cooking meals during the main training period. There will also be the need to have ice delivered on a daily basis to keep fluids cool so that Soldiers can stay hydrated. The acquisition strategy has not been determined at this time. The applicable NAICS code is 561210 Facilities Support Services, industrial with a small business size standard of $35.5M in annual revenue. Describe production, technical equipment and facilities the firm owns or has access to and has used to support the specified requirements. b. Describe subcontracting services that may be utilized and how the subcontractors will be managed. c. Demonstrate or provide a listing of other government (federal, state or county) contracts that have been executed in the last 1-5 years. Note: This Sources Sought Notice is open to large businesses, small businesses and all other social economic businesses.
