Description

Sources Sought This is a Sources Sought Announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of current market capabilities in relation to NAICS code 621111 Office of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists) Size Standard $10 Million. The Network Contracting Office at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VISN 2) has a requirement for a contractor to provide Thoracic Surgery Services for beneficiaries of the Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, NY. All work performed under this contract will be performed at the Stratton VA Medical Center. Thoracic Surgeons are needed to provide clinic coverage (approximately 2-8 hours per week during normal business hours), emergency on-call thoracic consult and surgical services 7 days per week, 24 hours per day to include weekends and holidays, thoracic surgical procedures and resident supervision. Contractors must be able to respond to on-call within 15 minutes of initial call by phone or within 60 minutes of initial call in-person if on-site clinical management is required. Responses to this Sources Sought must include the following information: 1. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012. No solicitation document is available at this time; this notice is to acquire information only.
