- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY! THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible small businesses that are capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Jackson, SC is issuing a sources sought to determine the availability of potential small businesses to provide leasing and servicing for an estimated eight hundred eighty three (883) each single seat, which include; portable chemical toilets of which, seven hundred sixty-three (763) each, single seat, portable chemical toilets and six (6) each single seat handicap chemical toilet, and one hundred twenty (120) temporary portable toilets that will required temporary locations for short terms throughout the installation. The estimated period of service will be for a base year plus 4 option periods. Each portable chemical toilet will be required to be enclosed, well ventilated, have a single toilet seat, storage tank, toilet tissue, toilet tissue holder, urinal, door, latch, and coat hook. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to seek capability statements from interested Small Businesses in order to reaffirm the initial research that it may be possible to set-aside for Small Business concerns. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice, the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. This is a request for small businesses interested in serving as prime contractors to submit a brief capability statement demonstrating how they could meet the requirements specified SERVICING: Will require servicing of all permanent portable chemical toilets a minimum of three days per week. Service will include the complete removal of ALL waste matter and foreign material; cleaning the inside of the waste tank; cleaning and applying a commercial grade cleaner and disinfectant to the toilet seat and all other interior surfaces; recharging the waste tank with a biodegradable chemical biocide and deodorant; and replacing toilet paper in sufficient quantity to maintain a continuous supply for user personnel. All servicing procedures will require the potential source to follow all local, state, and federal hazardous waste material and environmental regulations and policies. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: If you feel your company possesses the ability to provide the mentioned services, you must respond by demonstrating your firm's current capabilities and technical capability to meet the requirements. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the email address provided below no later than 14 December 2012; 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST).
