Description

The Southeast Louisiana Veteran Healthcare System (VISN16) has a requirement to provide a 7 day a week, 24 hour. 365 days medical alert monitoring services for eligible beneficiaries of this Medical Center for the period of April 1, 2013 through September 30, 2013, with four (4) one-year options exercised at the Government's discretion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with all specifications, statement of work, terms and conditions contained therein. NAICS code is 339113. The corresponding small business size standard of 500 employees or less This procurement will be a total small business set-aside. The Government anticipates one award on a best value basis to meet the needs of Veterans throughout the facility primary service area. Electronic version of this solicitation should be available on or about January 15, 2013. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. All questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer (Gilda M. Johnson) on or before February 4, 2013 by 3:00 PM local time by e-mail to gilda.johnson@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Please state the solicitation number on subject line, or e-mail may not be opened. All offers from qualified responsible sources currently providing services in the facility primary service area will be considered. Faxed or e-mailed proposals will NOT be accepted.
