Description

The VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS), Ann Arbor, MI, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corporation, Ann Arbor, MI for providing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on heart bypass equipment in accordance with the Government's Statement of Work. NAICS 811219 applies, the small business size standard is $7 Million dollars. The contractor shall perform the services at the VAAAHS at 2215 Fuller Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105, for the period of contract award for one year with four (4), one (1) year option periods. The contractor shall coordinate all visits with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and check in and out with the COR, as well as provide a comprehensive list of all work performed and parts replaced while at the facility. This notice is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 3:30 EST on 12/17/2012. No telephonic inquiries or e-mail responses will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Rd. (54C), Attn: Chuck Lakin, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
