Description
FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Matthew Dobies, 443-861-2809 matthew.n.dobies.civ@mail.mil This is a Market Survey to locate sources of supply for the following DVE spare parts that the Government proposes to acquire through a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The spare parts are listed by item description and NSN: TWV Sensor, 5855-01-587-5899; Display Control Module, 5980-01-587-5877; Assembly of EP&T & Controller Module, 5998-01-590-4564; Controller Module, 6110-01-590-4871; Pan and Tilt Module, 5855-01-590-4576; Cable, 5995-01-592-7301. The current source for these spare parts is BAE CAGE: 19397. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these parts are not available from the US Army. Suppliers capable of manufacturing these parts must so indicate by writing to: C-E LCMC IEW/S Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-TI (Matthew Dobies) Building 6006, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD 21005 or matthew.n.dobies.civ@mail.mil. The contractor will be required to produce the listed spare parts for the entire list of items, conduct acceptance tests in accordance with the latest approved revision of DVE Performance Specifications, and satisfy the Government's substantial delivery requirements. Responses to this survey must include documentation citing the contractor's experience, and demonstrating the capability to meet the Government's requirements in manufacturing products that meet all performance requirements, and that are physically and functionally interchangeable with presently fielded equipment. Requests for additional information must be received no later than 17 DECEMBER 12. The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The contractor must provide information to show that it possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable it, or its subcontractors, to meet cited production delivery requirements for these items.
