- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Research Innovation Technologies Administration (RITA), Transportation Safety Institute (TSI), Aviation Safety Division (RTI-20), intends to award a single-source purchase order to provide instructional services, review course materials and provide course updates in Course 010038, Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Aviation Safety Program Management (ASPM), for an estimated 3 classes, to The Strategic Results Center, 10 Glen Lake Parkway, Atlanta GA. The anticipated date of award is 12/20/12. The anticipated period of performance is 01/01/13 through 09/30/13. The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. All questions pertaining to this announcement should be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer, Brenda Elliott, via email to brenda.elliott@faa.gov or mailing address at FAA, MMAC, MPB, AMQ-310, P.O. Box 25082, Oklahoma City, OK 73125. Questions must be received no later than 12/19/12, 9:00 a.m. central time. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
