Description
Attachment 3 - Past Performance Questionnaire Attachment 2 - Purchase Description (PD) and Environmental Specifications Attachment 1 - Statement of Work (SOW) RFP - SF33. M67854-13-R-2009- Medium Hybrid Expeditionary Energy System (MHEES) Marine Corps Systems Command hereby releases a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the potential award up to two (2) contracts for the Research, Development, and Prototype fabrication of a Medium Hybrid Expeditionary Energy System (MHEES). The contracts will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP), "C" type contracts. All contracts will have base efforts that perform initial analysis, design efforts, and fabrication/delivery of prototypes. The period of performance for this effort will be twenty-four (24) months. To increase energy independence and flexibility of deployment options, the Marine Corps has been fielding renewable and hybrid energy programs to include the Ground Renewable Expeditionary Energy Network System (GREENS). Need for improvement exists with this type of system to meet future Marine Corps mission needs for mobility and power. The goal of this improvement will be to address the next level of power capability above the GREENS type system, while developing the smallest, lightest and most cost effective system at this increased power level. See attachments for RFP instructions and specifics.
