Description

In accordance with RFI VA262-13-I-0214 posted on November 29, 2012, the Government intends to procure commercial item services under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures for specific laboratory procedures for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. The contractor is required to provide the following specific testing AND provide the results within 24 hours or less: Block, Immunoperoxidase, Recut, Unstained Slide, Stain I and Stain II. The contract will be for one year. The solicitation will be issued on or about December 15, 2012. Responses shall be received December 19, 2012, 3:00 p.m. PST, and must be submitted via overnight service to Evelyn McKenna, Network Contracting Office 22, 4811 Airport Plaza Drive, Long Beach, CA 90815. The NAICS number is 621511, size standard $13.5M.
