- The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 541330 with a size standard of $35.5 Million. The Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (PHD NSWC) intends to issue a Request For Proposal for a three (3) year follow-on contract including a 12 month base period and two (2), one (1) year option periods to Lockheed Martin Services, Incorporated, 700 N Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 - 3328 for AEGIS Design Agent Engineering Services. Services under this effort include Design Agent Field Engineering Support Services; Test and Evaluation; Engineering Support Services; Engineering Change Development; Ordalt, Shipalt, and Modernization Engineering, Logistics, and Technical Support Services; AN/SPY-1 Series Radar Antenna Refurbishment; AEGIS Equipment Refurbishment; and Coast Guard Deepwater Program Design Agent Field Engineering Support Services in support of the Air Dominance Department PHD NSWC. Services shall be required at shore sites, land based test facilities, shipyards, and aboard ships in ports and at sea for the U.S., Allied Nations, and Foreign Military Sales customers. The contract will be issued on a sole-source basis to Lockheed Martin Services, Inc. the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and incumbent. No other contractor besides the incumbent could organize its workforce, obtain required security clearance, and develop the specialized technical expertise required to meet the government ™s minimum requirements under this effort Lockheed Martin Services, Inc. is the only source with the requisite knowledge and specialized technical expertise to ensure continuity of services and prevent unacceptable delays in fulfilling the government ™s current requirement in the time period required. The anticipated date of contract award is 31 March 2013. Note 22 applies.
