Description
Solicitation for 57th Inauguration Bus Support The Solicitation has been added. Please see attachment. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to provide Motor Coach Bus transportation in and around the immediate District of Columbia Metropolitan area in support of the 57th Presidential Inauguration. This action will be 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 485210 (Interurban and Rural Bus Transportation) with the business size standard dollar amount of $7M. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 18 December 2012 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registration requirements may be viewed via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses is solely within the discretion of the Government. The purpose of the Government is to conduct a Competitive Small Business Set-Aside procurement utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13 procedures.
