Description
The Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), Florida intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to Raytheon Corp., 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, Rhode Island 02871-1087. This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. Raytheon is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source to possess full repair capability. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any interested party, other than Raytheon, should contact the below named for more information regarding this posting, all correspondence shall be sent via e-mail to oulay.vorachack@navy.mil and received no later than 5 calendar days after the posted date of this announcement. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. See https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ for further information and instruction. The Governments anticipates a firm fixed price requirements type contract with task order provisions. This action covers a one (1) year base period with two (2), one (1) year option periods. Classification Data: NAICS Code: 334511 Size 750 employees SBA Applicability & Size Standard: N/A (Sole source to large business, Raytheon) Description of requirement: The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Jacksonville, FL, requires support for the fabrication of a Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Operational Test Program Set (OTPS) for Intermediate-Level repairs of the U.S. Navy (USN) RT-1709/AQS-22 Sonar Transmitter Receiver (ST/R) Weapons Replaceable Assembly (WRA) (P/N H420805-1). This equipment is integral to the AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) used on the MH-60R helicopter. Contractor support is required to exchange technical data and information that will be used by the Government to complete the fabrication of the CASS OPTS. More specifically, the contractor will provide the following support: -establish and support Technical Interchange Meetings between its design engineers and the FRCSE; provide documentation to support answers provide therein -updates for all software loading processes and procedures for the ST/R WRA -access to its ST/R testing lab to observe ST/R acceptance testing procedures during the CASS OTPS fabrication project -test engineering and technician support to clarify test procedures, processes, and acceptance parameters for the ST/R -all design data for the ST/R WRA The Point of Contact for this synopsis is Cynthia Vorachack-Hogan, Contract Specialist, Fleet Logistics Center - Jacksonville, oulay.vorachack@navy.mil.
