- Pre solicitation Notice W9127S-13-B-0003: This requirement was previously posted on FBO under Solicitation: W9127S 12 B 0025 and was cancelled after bid opening pursuant to FAR Part 14.404 1(c)(6). The revised solicitation W9127S-13-B-0003 has changed and will be posted to www.fbo.gov on or about January 2, 2013. The revised solicitation will be re advertised as an UNRESTRICTED requirement for Station Dredging Navigation Miles 0 to 444.8; McClellan Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. Arkansas, White and Verdigris Rivers Arkansas and Oklahoma. The magnitude of construction is more than $10,000,000. This will be an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction) and the Small Business Size Standard: $20.M. The work consists of dredging navigation channel in designated areas located between Navigation Miles 0 and 444.8 on the McClellan Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System; between Miles 10 and 255 on the White River. Dredged material is to be placed in designated areas. The work involves dredging between 500 and 1,000 stations. A station of dredging is equivalent to 100 feet advance by the dredge in a cut that averages 150 feet in width at the base of the cut and averages 3 feet of depth. This will be a base contract of twelve (12) months and two (2) option years for twelve (12) months. The proposed contract will be issued as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The Solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) utilizing Procedures per FAR 14 Sealed Bidding. It is each offeror's responsibility to download the solicitation and associated documents from the website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the ASFI website daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors may view and / or download this solicitation with all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_search_form.cfm and search for Solicitation number W9127S13B0003.
