- Drawing Logo This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4625-13-Q-0011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 315280. The small business size standard is 500 employees to be considered as a small business. All offers are to remain valid for a period of 60 days or more. Paper copies of the Request for Quotation shall not be made available. Items required are listed below: • CLIN 0001: A-10 Inlet/Exhaust Vinyl Cover Set with Logo and Tail Number QUANTITY: 24 Sets (Set = 4) • CLIN 0002: A-10 GAU-8 Gun Muzzle Vent Plug QUANTITY: 24 Each • CLIN 0003: ACESII Ejection Seat Cover with Logo QUANTITY: 24 Each • CLIN 0004: A-10 Inlet Vinyl Plug Set with Logo and Tail Number QUANTITY: 2 Sets (Set = 2) • CLIN 0005: A-10 Inlet Exhaust Plug Set with Logo and Tail Number QUANTITY: 2 Sets (Set = 2) • CLIN 0006: Shipping/Freight QUANTITY: 1 each All items should meet the following specifications: • Color = black • Stitching = 8 to 10 per inch • Fabric = Herculite or equal (flame retardant, tear resistant, impermeable, mildew/rot resistant, abrasion resistant, ultraviolet resistant, and easy to clean) • "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" Streamers (Red with white lettering) on each item • Engine cover straps need to be Velcro, no buckles • 2 engine cover PLUGS should be embroidered in white with the aircraft tail # 79-0153 on the inlet plugs • 2 engine cover PLUGS should be embroidered in white with the aircraft tail # 79-0147 on the inlet plugs • Attachments contain the required logo design, and engine specs. • Required Tail Numbers will be provided to the awardee. ** All contractors submitting a proposal are highly encouraged to attend the site visit.** **Only one site visit will be held** A site visit will be held on 27 Dec 2012 @ 10:00 AM. Prospective offerors will meet Angela Koyles at the Whiteman AFB Visitors Center by 9:45 AM the day of the site visit for issuance of a temporary base pass. Any prospective offeror shall RSVP to Angela Koyles via email at least 24 hours prior to the start of the site visit. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-63, DFARS DPN 20121212, AFFARS AFAC 2012-1107.
