Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO East Program Office, Denver, Colorado, intends to award a Limited Sources Task Order against an established FSS Contract in GSA in accordance with FAR Part 8. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58, effective May 18, 2012. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 334111 - Electronic Computer Manufacturing and the size standard is 1,000 Employees. The government has determined that NEC Corporation of America (GS-35F-0245J) is the only source that can satisfy this agency requirement. The requirement will renew annual maintenance for the NEC VPCC virtual environment located at the HRC Topeka, KS facility. This system consist of VPCC Server licenses software includes thirteen (13) VMWare ESX 4.1 Host, vMotion, 300 VPC user licenses, NEC proprietary application and coding. Virtual agents utilize proprietary NEC Thin Client technologies and routers to connect via their ISP to the VA network and are routed to the HRC VPCC system for desktop and telephony services. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO East Program Office, Denver, Colorado. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Any company that feels they have items that meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The information must explain the company's ability to overcome any propriety information. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
