Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 3 Ultra-low upright Freezers N62645-13-T-0002 The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC), acting on behalf of the USS Essex (LHD-2), intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for three (3) Ultra-Low Upright Freezers. The unit shall be capable of freezing to temperatures of -86°C. The unit shall have an interior capacity of 11.8 Cu Ft, and shall not exceed 73.2" (H) x 26.4" (W) x 34.1" (D) for exterior dimensions. Each unit shall be capable of holding up to 216 2" boxes. The electrical requirements are 110V, 15 Amp, and 60 Hz. Also required are three (3) liquid CO2 back-up systems, three (3) circular chart (7-day) temperature recorders, eighteen (18) fixed racks for 20" x 2" boxes, eighteen (18) fixed racks for 16" x 2" boxes, two (2) Operator Manuals and two (2) Service Manuals. Panasonic part numbers have been referenced as a guide to the essential characteristics for each required item. This solicitation is identified as "brand name or equal." The technical documentation provided with quotes of "equal" models must meet the salient physical, functional and performance characteristics described herein. "Equal" models are required to provide sufficient descriptive literature in accordance with FAR Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999), to allow for thorough evaluation of "equal" offers.
