Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Federal Occupational Health of Bethesda, MD for an Annual Contract for Employee Assistance Program counseling. NAICS 541990 applies; the small business size standard is $14.0 million. The Contractor shall oversee program operations, monitor provider performance and perform other required management functions at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center, 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037 for the period from date of award through September 30, 2013. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 pm on December 21, 2012. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be emailed to robert.kay@va.gov.
