Description
This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. In order to facilitate the electronic submission of quotations, Request for Quotation (RFQ) number R13PS60107 is being issued simultaneously to this announcement. The Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Region anticipates award of a purchase order for copiers/scanners rental with delivery to Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, 316 N. 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The requirement under this combined synopsis / solicitation provides for the furnishing of all materials, transportation, supplies (unless otherwise specified), equipment and other items and incidental services necessary to satisfactorily deliver requirement. In accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 5 and 12, RFQ Number R13PS60107 is available for viewing through electronic commerce via https://www.fbo.gov and via Reclamation's website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The solicitation is being issued as a total small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 532420 Office Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing. The applicable size standard is $30 million. The resulting purchase order will be a firm-fixed price type. Line Item 0001 - Lease of 1 Color Copier/Scanner, Color Image Runner 3100 or equivalent. Salient characteristics: can handle up to 11X17 paper, scan direct to a Windows 7 computer at 40 to 60 ppm in pdf format. QUANTITY: 1 Copier/Scanner for three months from 01/07/13 to 04/06/13. Unit Price $_________ per month, Total Cost $_________ Line Item 0002 - Lease of 3 Black/White Copiers/Scanners, Image Runner models 5570,6020i, 5000i or equivalent. Salient characteristics: can handle up to 11X17 paper, scan direct to a Windows 7 computer at 40 to 60 ppm in pdf format. QUANTITY: 3 for three months from 01/07/13 to 04/06/13. 3 Copiers/Scanners $_________ per month, Total Cost for 3 months $_________ Line Item 0003 - Per page charges (scans). Estimated 20,000 scans for 3 machines for 3 months for total estimated scans of 240,000. Unit price per scan $_________, Total Cost for 3 months $_________ Price per scan $_________ color $_________ black & white $_________ scans Equivalent products featuring the above salient characteristics may be submitted. Offers proposing to furnish an "equal," in accordance with the "Brand Name or Equal" provision of this solicitation, shall insert the following description of the product: 1. Product Name 2. Manufacturer's Name 3. Address 4. Product Make, Model, or Catalog Description F.O.B. Destination, Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, 316 N. 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The purchase order will be awarded to that responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the essential requirements of the solicitation and is the most advantageous price to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received. In accordance with FAR 9.105-1, the Contracting Officer may request an offeror to provide detailed information relating to his responsibility and, as necessary, to the responsibility of his proposed subcontractors. The Contracting Officer expressly reserves the right to reject the offer of any offeror determined to be nonresponsible.
