- Approved CAGE and part numbers The NSNs being solicited are listed in the ATTACHMENT. They are procured in accordance with approved part number of General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products (GDATP), CAGE 05606. The solicitation is for a Requirement type contract and the FOB point is Origin. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The base period is 3 years, and there are two one-year option periods. Items will be shipped to various CONUS and OCONUS DLA depots. This requirement is Unrestricted. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on its issue date 1/7/2013. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. A written offer is required to be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified, DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. Technical data is NOT AVAILABLE. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the solicitation. The following synopsis notes apply: One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English languate and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interst and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
