Sole Source Justification Continuation Sheet Page 3 of 3 Continuation Sheet Page 2 of 3 Continuation Sheet Page 1 of 3 SOLE SOURCE NOTICE (RED.COM, INC. EPIC DIGITAL CINEMA CAMERA PACKAGE) This is a notice of intent to issue a contract to RED.com, 34 Parker, Irvine, CA 92618-1604 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is to purchase items which will be compatible with the existing RED Digital Video System at the Defense Media Activity at Fort Meade, Maryland. See attached Continuation Sheets and Sole Source Justification. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to perform by responding to this notice by the specified closing date. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
