Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk Contracting Division intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Wartsila Defense, Inc. for two DDG51 Bulkhead Seal Major Overhaul Lits, part number WLP001418-001, for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 339991 (Gasket, Packing, and Sealing Device Manufacturing). This procurement will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.1, Simplified Acquisition Procedures Quotes are due by 2:00 p.m., 21December 2012 and can be faxed to the attention of Bonnie Parker at fax number 757-396-8017 or emailed to her at bonnie.parker@dla.mil. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency.
