- This is the synopsis for the recurrent bulk fuel procurement for the Inland/East/Gulf Coast purchase programs. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Type, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment contract resulting from this announcement. Further, the government may choose to award one of the three possible duration periods pending the individual evaluation of the concurrent offers submitted with respect to the different contracting periods as stipulated in the Offer Submission Package: 1 year, 2 years or 5 years. The ordering period for the 1-year contract starts from the date of award through August 31, 2014. The delivery period is date of award through August 31, 2014, with a 30-day carryover. The ordering period for the 2-year contract starts from the date of award through August 31, 2015. The delivery period is date of award through August 31, 2015, with a 30-day carryover. The ordering period for the 5-year contract starts from the date of award through August 31, 2018. The delivery period is date of award through August 31, 2018, with a 30-day carryover. The 30-day carryover allows for delivery of orders placed on or before the last day of the ordering period. The method of delivery will be tanker, barge, truck, railcar, and/or pipeline. The estimated quantities are as follows: Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP8, NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, PP 2.2a, 765,668,000 USG for 1 year; 1,531,336,000 USG for 2 years; 3,828,340,000 USG for 5 years; Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP5, NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, PP 2.2c, 274,052,000 USG for 1 year; 548,104,000 USG for 2 years; 1,370,260,000 USG for 5 years; Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JAA, NSN: 9130-00-359-2026, PP 2.2a, 353,938,000 USG for 1 year; 707,876,000 USG for 2 years; 1,769,690,000 USG for 5 years; Fuel, Naval Distillate, F76, NSN: 9140-00-273-2377, PP 2.5a, 178,162,000 USG for 1 year; 356,324,000 USG for 2 years; 890,810,000 USG for 5 years. Approximately 42.67% of all products are being set-aside for small businesses. A posting notice will be sent to the firms on the solicitation mailing list on the date the solicitation is issued and posted on the FedBizOpps webpage.
