Description
U.S. Attorney's Office 2nd Floor Renovation, Charles Chamberlain Federal Building and U.S. Post Office. This work consists of: 1.Furnish demolition operations as required to complete the project. Remove electrical and data outlets, partitions, wall finishes, floor finishes, ceiling finishes, lighting, ductwork, doors and frames. 2.During construction, all egress corridors shall remain clear, with fire alarm protection, lighting, exit signage and door operation as required by Code. 3.New work to include steel stud and gypsum board partitions and finishes. Several partitions also have sound insulation. See drawings for specific wall construction. Furnish and install new doors, frames and hardware. Furnish and install new acoustic ceiling system, carpet, and base. Furnish and install new lighting and power. Modify the existing ductwork. 4.The building has an existing modern fire alarm system. Relocate existing and/or provide new ceiling mounted fire alarm devices as required to accommodate new partitions and ceiling systems. 5.All work that creates noise, odor, or disruption to building tenants shall be done at night. This includes fire alarm testing.
