Description
RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA3016-102059636-02 is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-62 and DFARS change notice 20121116. This combined synopsis/solicitation is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. EVALUATION The Government intends to award a FFP purchase order resulting from this Request for Quotation (RFQ) to the vendor whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the Government. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The Government may reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest and waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Technical Acceptability will be evaluated based upon providing all elements of the Beacon Software Services Support requirement reflected in the above mentioned CLIN descriptions. NUMBER OF CONTRACTS TO BE AWARDED The Government intends to award one (1) FFP contract for Beacon Appliance Software Support Requirement. The government intends to award this contract by 23 January 2013.
