3. Specifications - Las Vegas NV Winterwood Branch Roof Replacement 2. Drawings – Las Vegas NV Winterwood Branch Roof Replacement. 1. Solicitation 072382-13-A-0006 Synopsis: PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION The Western Facilities Construction CMT of the U. S. Postal Service plans to issue a Firm Fixed Price Contract to a qualified contractor for the roof replacement of the Las Vegas NV Winterwood Branch located at 5070 Vegas Valley Drive, Las Vegas NV 89142, a facility containing approximately 20,000 interior square feet. Offerors should review the entire solicitation to ensure the requirements are understood, and shall submit to the Western Facilities Construction CMT a completed Offeror's Proposal Return Package as outlined in the associated solicitation, specifically Attachment 13 - Offeror's Proposal Return Package. Incomplete submissions may be disqualified from consideration. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Existing roof system removal and replacement with a cold-applied two-ply modified bitumen roof system and post coated with Energy Star coating. This work includes removal of the existing mechanically attached TPO roof membrane and associated insulation, related wall and sheet metal flashings down to the existing structural deck. Installation of an underlayment, multi-layer insulation system achieving a minimum R-value of 20, 1/4-inch thick gypsum based cover board, two-ply modified bitumen roof membrane/flashing system consisting of a base and granulated surface sheet, sheet metal flashing components and Energy Star compliant coating system. A pre-proposal meeting will be held as follows: Thursday January 11, 2013 9:00 am Las Vegas Winterwood Branch 5070 Vegas Valley Drive Las Vegas NV 89142-9998. Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly recommended. QUALIFICATION: The qualification statements will be evaluated by qualified Postal Service employees and/or Postal Service contracted professionals. Factors that will be considered are outlined in Attachment 13 - Offeror's Proposal Return Package of the solicitation All documents associated with this solicitation can be found within this FEDBIZOPPS announcement. This is not a sealed bid advertisement, and proposals will NOT be publicly opened. All proposal information received is CONFIDENTIAL until award of a contract. The name of the successful Offeror and the amount of the contract will be released on FEDBIZOPS.gov as public information. Information related to unsuccessful offers is exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and WILL NOT BE RELEASED. IMPORTANT NOTE: A similar solicitation is simultaneously issued for the roof replacement of the roof at the Las Vegas NV Huntridge Station, a facility containing approximately 19,175 interior square feet. Offerors may submit offers for one, or both, of these projects per each associated solicitation AND, a discounted price, if any, should the Postal Service award both projects to a single Offeror. A supplemental pricing sheet can be found in Attachment 13 - Offeror's Proposal Return Package of each solicitation. Offerors interested in submitting an offer on BOTH projects shall submit a Return Package for each solicitation. End.
