RFP VA786-13-R-0106 Raise & Realign and Turf Renovation For the Danville National Cemetery, Danville, IL This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice RFP VA786-13-R-0106 is a requirement for service contract for Springfield National Cemetery for turfgrass removal and restoration services. The Danville National Cemetery is located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832 The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to furnish all equipment, parts, materials, labor and supervision necessary to "Raise, Realign, Reset & Clean" upright headstones and to perform ground surface renovation/re-establish turf at Danville National Cemetery, Danville, Illinois Services include, but are not limited to work consisting of extracting, resetting, aligning, backfilling, and compacting upright headstones that are already in place which have shifted out of vertical and/or horizontal alignment and plumb, as well as inventorying and assuring accurate placement on each gravesite, preservation of existing cemetery features (lawns, paving, roads, stones, and markers), restoration of cemetery features disturbed or removed as a result of performing new work, as well as, repairing, replacing, or reinstalling any damaged cemetery property, such that at the end of the day the condition is as good as before commencement of work Project will be for a Base Period of 240 days from date of award. This acquisition is Set-Aside for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 812220 is applicable. Please reference Solicitation Number RFP VA-786-13-R-0106 on remittances. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about January 31, 2013. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., on or about February 18, 2013 (actual due date will be stated on the solicitation). Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps.
