Description
Mil spec for the Rubber Industrial Glove, PGC: 00554 applies Sources Sought for Rubber Industrial Glove PGC: 00554 Item: Gloves, Rubber Industrial; NSN: 8415-00-823-7458 (size 9); NSN: 8415-00-823-7459 (size 10) and NSN: 8415-00-823-7460 (size 11) End Item Specification: MIL-DTL-32066 dated 14 June 2000 Type III, Style 1 (handling organic solvents) Production lead time is 150 days. Once award is made, approximately three incremental deliveries will be required, starting 150 days after date of award. The delivery destinations are: DDJC W62G2T Xu Def Dist Depot San Joaquin 25600 S. Chrisman Road Tracy, CA 95304-5000 and DDSP W25G1U New Cumberland Facility Building Mission Door 113-134 New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 After the award is made, the awardee will have to provide pre-production samples for first article testing prior to the first scheduled delivery. If an award is made, it will be awarded as a firm fixed price C-type Contract with no delivery orders. The required quantities (at this time) are between 14,400 and 21,600. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. DLA Troop Support has developed a web-based system that allows manufacturers the ability to request specifications, patterns and drawings on our contracting page. There is no solicitation in place at this time. Please note: the Berry Amendment will apply.
