- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR CANON COPIER MAINTENANCE This message constitutes a Sources Sought Notice. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed by a commitment by the Government, implies or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO) is conducting market research for small businesses capable of providing copier maintenance on four (4) Canon copiers location at the VA Central Office (VACO) in Washington, DC. Contractor must be certified by Canon in order to protect any manufacturer warranties. Onsite response must be within 24 hours and repairs shall be complete within 28 hours. The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Businesses relative to North American Classification Code 811212, Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance. The size standard is $25.5 million. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will also depend on the response to this Sources Sought synopsis. Requirements: Task 1: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, labor, tools, parts, material, transportation, supplies, and services necessary to maintain in serviceable condition all Canon equipment (Model IRC5185 and Model IRC4080). Task 2: Provide copier meter read request on a monthly basis to the designated Point of Contact (POC).
