- The Battle Creek VA Medical Center, 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, Michigan intends to negotiate with VA Venture Grand Rapids to lease land to the VA Hospital. The proposed action is approximately 21,780 square feet of land to place modular office units, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The Government believes that only one (1) responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. The property shall be located within the boundaries of I-96 (North), Franklin Street (South), Diamond Avenue (East), Grandville/Monroe (West). This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, but responses received on or before February 14, 2013 will be evaluated. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is only within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be submitte4d in writing to the Battle Creek VA Medical Center (90VC), Attention Chris Gundy, Lease Contracting Officer, 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037, or email at Christopher.gundy@va.gov or fax at 269-223-6069. Responses must be received no later than 3:30PM, Friday February 15th, 2013. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
