Description

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE The Centralized Acquisition Service, VISN 6, Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking small business and/or contract sources for the following brand name equipment for delivery to the VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina. Item number shown are Olympus/Gyrus and are being provided for reference purposes. G400 Generator (Item# 777000) - Quantity 1 each. This is a brand name only requirement. The generator is necessary for robotic prostatectomy. It is required for the PK dissecting forcep 420227 to be used for the da Vinci robot and there is no equalivent generator that offers the technology for the PK devices. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Government to later publish a solicitation. This is not a request for a competitive quotation. No solicitation document is available, and telephone inquiries will not be honored; however, interested parties may submit their product literature for consideration to: dori.dabbs2@va.gov. Responses received on or before 10:00 AM EST, February 6, 2013 will be considered.
