Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1. TRIMA ACCEL RBC PLATELET PLASMA SETS, SAMPLING 6/CS - Catalog # 80449 (DONOR): TOTAL QUANTITY - 87 CS Trima Accel RCB Platelet Plasma Sets are used in the collection of Donor Platelet units on the Trima Platelet Machine. No other company supplies them but TERUMOBCT, INC., which is the Owner/Manufacturer of the equipment in use as well. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1(2). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The requirement is for the Pathology Dept.
