- Actuator Assembly; System: CH-47 Input NSN: 1680-01-118-5607 Input P/Ns: 145CS100-5 and SYLC50480-1 Output NSN: 1680-01-118-5607 Output P/N: SYLC50480-1 QUANTITY: MIN 30 - MAX 755 FMS QUANTITY: 125 This Pre-solicitation Notice is issued to add Airtronics, Inc., Cage 58078, as an approved source. The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. Maintenance and Overhaul shall be done in accordance with Depot Maintenance Work (DMWR) 55-1680-351 dated 30 April 1996, change 2 to include all applicable Maintenance Engineering Orders (MEOs) and AMCOM Engineering Directives (AEDs). This item is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). In accordance with public Law 108-136; the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 209-270; the overhaul of CSI can only be accomplished by approved sources. The Boeing Company, CAGE 77272, Route 291 & Stewart Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078-1099, GE Aviation Systems LLC, CAGE 05624, 1354 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, IL 61111-4766, and Airtronics, Inc., CAGE 58078, 1822 S. Research Loop, Tucson, AZ 85710 are the only approved sources for this overhaul. It has been determined that the Government's needs cannot be met by items available in the commercial marketplace; therefore, FAR Part 12 will not be used. Product Verification Audit (PVA) is required. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, materials for the Maintenance and Overhaul of this item. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). No telephone requests for solicitation will be accepted. Request for solicitation will be by fax or mailed. You may mail your request to Deanna Collins, CCAM-AL-M, Bldg 5303, 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000; fax number 256-313-8194. Proposals will only be accepted by mail. No datafax or emails will be accepted for proposals. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimate date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
