- 6292D Page 2-Drawing 2000 Drawing 6292-D Sinker Specifications This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the capability and availability of commercial sources with experience in fabricating Concrete Sinkers for U. S. Coast Guard River Buoy Tenders throughout the Midwest of the United States. The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, material, transportation and equipment necessary to fabricate and deliver 1,000, 1,500 and 2000 lbs concrete sinkers to various U. S. Coast Guard River Buoy tenders located in the Midwest including ST. Louis, MO, Omaha, NE, Peoria, IL, Keokuk, IA, Dubuque, IA, Natchez, MS, Pine Bluff, AR, Memphis, TN, Vicksburg, MS, Sallisaw, OK, Greenville, MS Demopolis, AL, Colfax, LA, Eufaula, AL, Buchanan, TN, Owensboro, KY, Sewickley, PA, Chattanooga, TN, Hickman KY and Leavenworth, KS. Please see the attachment of this Sources Sought for additional specifications information. The contractor shall be available to deliver the concrete sinkers between the hours of 8:00 am and 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday. No deliveries are to be made on Saturdays, Sundays or legal Federal Holidays. Multiple deliveries are acceptable. The anticipated start date will be 01 October 2013 and requirement is anticipated to extend through 30 September 2018. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 327331 (Concrete Block and Brick Manufacturing). The Small Business Size Standard in number of employees is 500. A set-aside determination has not yet been made. All responsible sources are requested to submit the following: company name, point of contact, address, DUNS Number, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size and a statement of capabilities. The business size shall include any applicable preference program (i.e. 8a, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Woman Owned, small business). Interested parties should provide a statement of their capabilities to meet this requirement by providing a description of past contracts and/or purchase orders.
