Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0010 on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. This effort will include all non-recurring labor and materials required to collect, assemble, and deliver the Special Tooling (ST) and Special Test Equipment (STE) management data used by Sikorsky in the manufacturing and testing of the Navy MH-60 Romeo and Sierra aircraft in support of production-line shutdown efforts. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;" because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed data and knowledge for the MH-60R and MH-60S aircraft design manufacturing to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
