- Synopsis DTFH61-13-R-00004 TO READ THE ENTIRE SYNOPSIS, PLEASE DOWNLOWD ATTACHMENT "SYNOPSIS DTFH61-13-R-00004," WHICH IS AVAILABLE IN MICROSOFT WORD FORMAT. Background The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award multiple 4.5-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts under which firm-fixed price Task Orders will be issued. The Task Orders may require developing, updating, and/or delivering nationwide training in the broad subject areas of Transportation Planning and Environment for FHWA's National Highway Institute (NHI). The overall objective of the ID/IQ contracts is to effectively deliver high quality training dealing with all aspects of Transportation Planning and Environment for the Nation's transportation workforce. Location of Work The location of services to be performed varies for NHI Instructor-led training (ILT) sessions, which are offered at locations throughout the United States of America, including territories. However, the location of performance for course developments or updates will take place at the contractor's facilities. Other Information Potential offeror's are encouraged to access FHWA's Planning, Environment and Realty (HEP) website (www.fhwa.dot.gov/hep/index.htm) and the National Highway Institute's website (http://www.nhi.fhwa.dot.gov/) for information regarding their respective programs. Additionally, the NHI website provides a listing of current training courses in the 1420XX, 1510XX and 1520XX series, as well as information on resources, training philosophy, instructor standards, the NHI Style Guide, among many other related topics. It is anticipated that the majority of listed courses will continue to be offered through 2017, and possibly beyond. For general planning purposes, potential offerors can assume that as many as 15 sessions of each ILT course may be scheduled each year.
