Description
Attachment 1, Current FBI Equipment This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (television communication services). The FBI Academy is seeking an experienced provider of commercial television service, to include cable and other subscription television programming services. Qualified Offerors shall have no less than 8 years of experience in providing commercial television programming. Companies with less than 8 years of experience will not be considered for award. Qualified offers shall not have been Terminated for Default in the past 10 years. Companies who have been Terminated for Default in the past 10 years will not be considered for award. The contractor/service provider shall provide and install all cable, equipment, conduits, hardware, etc. to a head end location - location to be determined by customer. The FBI will run cable from the head end to all internal user drops. The required signal strength at the head shall be determined by the service provider. It shall be a material requirement of the contract that the signal strength be continuously adequate to provide clear, uninterrupted TV viewing 99% of the time. The service provider shall be responsible to determine head equipment requirements. In accordance with FAR 52.237-1, Site Visit (Apr 1984), the Government will be conducting a Site Visit on 12 Feb at 8:00 am Eastern time. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Contractors who choose to participate in the Site Visit shall contact David Tignor at 703-632-1201 (email addresses are: David.Tignor@ic.fbi.gov and DTignor@fbiacademy.edu ), not later than 07 Feb 2013, to coordinate the visit and to facilitate the necessary Security administrative matters for you to gain access to the FBI campus. No more than two (2) individuals may attend per company.
