Description
This request is an announcement for information/market research for planning purposes. The synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center/PZIA is seeking potential sources to provide a Vapor Phase System Reflow System meeting the following specifications: • Must be capable of handling large mass differentials • Overall dimensions must not exceed 72" long x 34" wide x 48" high • Working envelope must be at least 2 ¼" x 10" by 12" • Must operate on 208 VAC phase, 40 Amp current - 60 Hz standard • Must use the vapor phase reflow process to ensure consistency of temperatures and minimal emitted fumes • Must have either integral or external water thank that fits within the specified footprint • Must not require dedicated water supply or drain • Must supply water at 2-3 GPM at 25° C or 40° C • Must be capable of operating temperatures from 200° C to 320° C • Must provide solder and re-soldered parts that meet industry JIS standards • Main heater must use power at 7.5Kw and ± Kw • Must have level conveyor at all points throughout flow process (holds parts/boards level at all times) • Must have programmable cool down time • Must be capable of Ball Grid Array solder and rework Terms: 1. Vapor Phase System Reflow System must meet all of the specifications; 2. Must include onsite training at Kirtland AFB; 3. Must include warranty for parts and labor Firms responding to this announcement shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and should include company name, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact, address and business size using NAICS Code 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, Size 500 employees. Respondents shall include Statement of Capabilities (SOC), limited to 2 pages, and may include demonstration of experience in meeting the specifications listed.
