Description

SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, 4100 East Mississippi Avenue, Suite 900, Glendale, CO 80246 intends to solicit sources to enter into one or more firm-fixed price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract(s) for courier delivery services. The contractor shall provide all of the necessary personnel, labor, equipment and transportation for regularly scheduled pickups of a variety of items including, but not limited to, lab specimens, x-rays and/or compact disk materials, medical equipment and supplies, pharmaceuticals, other small equipment items, soiled/clean linen, mail, etc. for the Sheridan VA Medical Center (VAMC) and eight clinics. Protective packaging will be provided by the origination site. In addition to the scheduled weekday pickup/delivery, there may be other non-scheduled deliveries. Occasionally a one-time delivery may be requested to a location other than a VA facility. Services shall be for a one-year base period with four one-year pre-priced option periods for renewal. The solicitation package will be available for download on or about February 12, 2013. Proposals submitted shall be due no later than 4:30 p.m. mountain time on February 22, 2013. The applicable NAICS code is 492110 with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Contractor must be registered and verified in the VetBiz portal prior to contract award. The solicitation reference is VA259-13-R-0345 - Courier Services - Sheridan, Wyoming Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), and should be referenced in all correspondence/inquiries. The locations for service to be provided are as follows: Sheridan VAMC, 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801; Afton Outreach Clinic, 125 South Washington, Afton, WY 83110; Casper Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) 4140 South Poplar, Casper, WY 82601; Evanston Primary Tele-health Outreach Clinic (PCTOC), 1565 S. Hwy 150 #E, Evanston, WY 82930; Gillette Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 6540 Express Drive, Gillette, WY 82718; Powell Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 777 Avenue H, Powell, WY 82435; Riverton Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 2300 Rose Lane, Riverton, WY 82501; Rock Springs Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 1401 Gateway Blvd., Rock Springs, WY 82901; and Worland Primary Tele-health Outreach Clinic (PCTOC), 510 S 15th St, Suite D, Worland, WY 82401.
