Description

This is a Sources Sought to conduct MARKET RESEARCH in order to provide supervision, labor, supplies, equipment, material and transportation to pick up, package, transport; eradicate and disposal/destruction of bio hazardous waste, pathological and/or special waste in Contractors' plant site location for the VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, and other VACHS Clinics, CBOC located in Puerto Rico. The North American Industry Classification code is 562211. All worked performed are in accordance with all applicable Federal statutes and regulations, guidelines, rules, established by Federal, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); OSHA, Environmental Quality Board(EQB), City Laws and Joint Commission Accreditation of Healthcare. Interested parties may identify and submit in writing their capabilities by including the following: Corporate project, experience in healthcare facilities for these types of services; past performance, certification/licenses/permits by the Environmental Quality Board and any other Government Agency. Submission date is by February 20, 2013 at 2:00PM Caribbean/Puerto Rico time to Mary.Gugliano@va.gov. No telephone information will be accepted. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSAL. No solicitation package is available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
