Description
SOW - Statement of Work - Meals Attached is a SOW- Statement of Work for the meals and below are some questions that have come up. The CUT OFF is 26 FEB 2013 AT 10:00AM CST. 1.Q. - Verify no formal written SOW attachment other than what is typed in the FBO synopsis referenced n the primary page of the FBO. - 2.A. - The Meal Roster is attached to FBO website and in this email; it contains the meal requirements. 3.Q. - Item 5 references vendor will receive 72 hours notice prior to contract commencing of training schedule and number of meals needed by the unit POC... will the meals be less than the referenced 7,205 meals? - 4.A. - Due to deployment numbers this could change. The unit will have correct numbers supplied 72 hours advance notice. 5.Q. - If less than the referenced 7,205 is the contractor required to accept the new head count for invoicing purposes? Or will the 7,205 be the minimum even for invoices as contracted. 6. A. - Vendor will only invoice for the actual number meals received by unit 72 hours prior to commencing contract and no more. If the number changes after the 72 hours, vendor will still invoice for the # given. 7.Q. - If the head count to be less than the referenced 7,205 what would the minimum head count be expected to decrease to? So the contractor may adequately prepare expense and services. 8.A. See question #3 for answer. 9.Q. - Item 6, Vendor will deliver and serve meals at MacDill AFB AUX Field, Florida. Can the contractor establish a field kitchen to sustain services and preparation at MacDill? Or must the meals be prepared off site at another facility and delivered to MacDill at each meal period? 10.A. - N/A 11.Q. - If the contractor can establish a field kitchen at MacDill what resources are available to the contractor? Water outlet, Power resources, gray water disposal such as a water drain? 12.A. This request is for catering not for an onsite kitchen. Keeping food warm is acceptable. You may establish a field kitchen. There is water and electricity available, but not sure if it will support the full needs. Gray water must be contained and transported to a disposal location. 13.Q. - If the contractor can establish a field kitchen at MacDill may the contractor establish temporary frame tents, cooking equipment, food storage trailers and any ancillary support equipment needed? Can diesel fuel and propane be delivered on base for contractor use? A. 14.A. - These should not be an issue. 15.Q. - Will the customer/client/USPFO TN be providing a dining facility at MacDill, if so what type of structure? Existing building? What are its resources? Working Power, Tables, Seating Chairs, Dining service capabilities? Is it already a DFAC? Please Elaborate? - 16.A. - There is power available through extension cords, some eating areas are available. There is a small DFAC on post that can be used for storage and cooking, but the vendor is 100% responsible for the area and is liable for any damage to equipment. Some cool storage available. 17.Q. - What of serving line does the USPFO TN desire? Commercial Steam Tables, Heat Lamps, Hot Boxes, etc.. 18.A. The serving lines need to have the capability of keeping food at sustainable temperatures for at least a period of one and a half to two hours every meal. 19.Q. - To Clarify the USPFO for TN would like the contractor to serve the meals to the soldiers? How many serving lines are desired? What thru put would is preferred per 30 minutes. Head counts referenced in the meal roster suffice only one single serving line needed. 20.A. - This is up to the unit at the training site - POC in charge 21.Q. - The meal roster references breakfast being served from 6:30 am to 10:00 am and the FBO synopsis references 6:30 to 8:00 am. Verify breakfast serving time? 22.A. - I was having problems with the site - 6:30-8:00 or 8:30 depending on size of unit 23.Q. - The meal roster references dinner being served from 5:30 to 7:30 and the FBO synopsis references 5:30 to 7:00. Verify dinner serving time? 24.A. - Same as 11 - 5:30pm-7:00/7:30pm depending on size of unit 25.Q. With the sides with dinner the 2 vegetable request may one sides be a starch instead of two vegetables each night? 26.A. - Please see the SOW and Meal Roster for the details
