- Description
- This is notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Office of Public Health Prpardness and Response, Division of Strategic National Stockpile in Atlanta, GA, intends to solicit and enter into a contract with Genilogix, LLC for the support and maintenace services of the Genilogix eApprove software. The required software services of Genilogix, LLC include (1) providing maintenance and support for the Genilogix eApprove software (2) assuring availability of all licensed software upgrades and (3) providing a basis for future upgrades and enhancements. The Government intends to solicit, negotiate and award to only one contractor using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(2)(i), supplies or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination not to compete this requirement is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested parties who feel they possess the capabilities to provide the information described above should submit a capabilities statement demonstrating their ability to Genesika Carter by email at fkn7@cdc.gov. No solicitation is available and telephone requests for information will not be honored. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government shall consider all responses received within three (3) days of this posting. A determination by the CDC not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notification, is solely within the discretion of the government.
