- SERVICE: The NAVSUP WSS issued a sole source award to EC AMERICA, INC. for the purchase of one year of maintenance support of CITRIX software currently owned licensed to four Naval Shipyards. The approximate award date is 15 MAR 2013. The NAICS code for this requirement is 5141519 with a size standard of no more than $25.5M. THIS IS SOLE SOURCED DUE TO THE OEM (CITRIX) ONLY AUTHORIZES EC AMERICA INC. TO PROVIDE THIS MAINTENANCE SERVICE TO THE GOVERNMENT. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all informational proposals will be considered within 10 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1).
