- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Various Dairy Products for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex in Florence, Colorado. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed prices. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base year. The estimated contract requirements for the base year include: Milk, reduced fat (2%), Bulk 5 gallon bladders, estimated quantity 300; Milk, chocolate, Bulk 5 gallon bladders, estimated quantity 100; Milk, skim (non-fat), Bulk 5 gallon bladders, estimated quantity 400; Milk, reduced fat (2%), pints, estimated quantity 1,240,000; Milk, reduced fat (2%), pints, estimated quantity 5200; Milk, skim (non-fat), half-pints, estimated quantity 300,000; Milk, chocolate, half-pints, estimated quantity 15,000; Cheese, cottage, unflavored small or large curd, estimated quantity 4000; Sour cream, cultured or acidified, 5 pound containers, estimated quantity 2000; Cream cheese, cultured 5 pound containers, estimated quantity 150; Eggnog, cultured, Bulk 5 gallon bladders, estimated quantity 600; Sherbert, 3 ounce per container, 24 containers per case, estimated quantity 3000; Vanilla ice cream cups, 3 ounce per container, 24 containers per case, estimated quantity 6600; Chocolate ice cream cups, 3 ounce per container, 24 containers per case, estimated quantity 2400; Strawberry ice cream cups, 3 ounce per container, 24 containers per case, estimated quantity 2000. Deliveries will be scheduled on Tuesday's. The solicitation will be available on or about March 1, 2013 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about March 20, 2013. The solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 424430 with a size standard of 100 employees. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible companies may submit a quote.
