- The US Army Contracting Command, New Jersey intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source effort with FARO Technologies, Inc.; however, responsible offerors may submit a capability statement, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. This acquisition is being conducted using simplified acquisition procedures. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 334513 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The type of contract action being used is a firm fixed price purchase order. The Government has a need to purchase one Vantage Tracker Measurement System(VTMS). The VTMS allows for versatility of measurements that will allow our engineering group to quantify the static and dynamic state of M119 movement. The Maximum Permissible Error (MPE) is performed to ASME B89.4.19. The tracker will give the Government industry grade measurement capability for the M119 overhaul program that will streamline production efforts.
