- NOTICE OF INTENT 1. The Defense Information Systems Agency, Ft Meade, intends to negotiate a sole source award with Raytheon Company, Intelligence & Info Systems, located at 22110 Pacific Boulevard, Sterling, VA for the acquisition of Senior Leadership Command, Control, and Communications System (SLC3S) Architecture and Engineering support services. The resulting contract will be a hybrid contract with firm-fixed price and cost-plus-fixed-fee CLINS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
