- Expression of Interest Sought The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Glen Burnie, Maryland, that will be expiring on March 10, 2015. The Government requires office and related space yield 8,858 – 9,300 ANSI/BOMA office area (ABOA) square feet. The lease term requirement is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. The space must be available for the occupancy by March 10, 2015. The delineated area is: Beginning at Ritchie Hwy (Route 2) and I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) to Arundel Expressway (Route 10) to Route 100 to Crain Hwy intersecting back into Ritchie Hwy ending at I-695. Other applicable requirements include the following features: · Contiguous first floor space is preferred for this requirement. · Space cannot be twice as wide as long unless waived by the Government. · Column perimeters shall be at least 20’ from any wall and from each other and shall be no more than 2’ square. · Regularly scheduled public transportation must be available with transit stops within 2 blocks of the proposed space. The Government is considering alterative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Interested parties should send expressions of interest to: Donna Welcher Leasing Specialist 215-446-5755 Donna.welcher@gsa.gov Expression of interest must be submitted to the above address by 4:00 p.m. on March 21, 2013 and must include the following information: · Building name and address and location of the available space within the building · Rentable square feet available, and expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced · ANSI/BOMA office area (ABOA) square feet to be offered, and expected rental rate per ABOA square foot, fully serviced. Indicate whether the quoted rental rate includes an amount for tenant improvements and state the amount, if any. · A floor plan in AutoCAD and PDF of the available space in the building · Date of space availability · Building ownership information · Amount of secured parking available on-site and its cost. Include whether expected rental rate includes the cost of the required Government parking. · Energy efficiency and renewable energy features existing within the building · List of building services provided · Name, address, telephone number, and email address of individual to be contacted. The Government’s decision regarding whether to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement.
