- Description
- DLA Troop Support intends to issue a solicitation for full line Fresh Fruit and Vegetable (FF&V) US #1 Grade or better for DoD (Troops) and non-DoD (USDA School) customers in Illinois. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be 100% small business set-aside, using NAICS Code 311991 size standard 500. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract, Fixed Price with an Economic Price Adjustment based on cost of supplies/materials. The contract length will be for 4.5 years and will include one (1) eighteen month base period and two (2) eighteen month option periods. The acquisition method is low price technically acceptable (LPTA). The estimated dollar amount for the total contract is $19,406,392.65, not to exceed 200% ($38,812,785.30) of the estimate. The estimated dollar amount for each eighteen (18) month period is $6,468,797.55. The estimated guaranteed minimum contract value (10% of the (18) month estimate) is $646,879.75. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued in April 2013. An award is expected in September 2013.
